Actor killed by robbers while trying to protect female colleague

The incident occurred at 3:30 am on Saturday (May 25) in Los Angeles, United States. Actor Johnny Wactor finished his shift at a nightclub. He and a female coworker walked to the parking lot. There, he saw his car surrounded by a group of people.

As he approached and tried to talk to the group, Wactor realized that they were a group of robbers trying to steal his car. When he saw one of the robbers in the group raising a gun, he quickly stood in front of his female coworker.

Immediately, the armed robbers fired shots, taking the life of the 37-year-old actor. The incident is causing shock to the media and the American public.

Johnny Wactor is best known for his role in the TV show General Hospital. He appeared in 164 episodes of the show from 2020 to 2022. In addition, Wactor has appeared in other TV series such as Siberia, The OA, The Passenger, Westworld, Hollywood Girl... On screen, he often played supporting roles.

Before his tragic death, Wactor was planning to become a film producer. He had plans to produce 3 films. His most recent role was in the horror film Dead Talk Tales: Volume I, which was released earlier this year.

Police said the masked robbers quickly fled the scene after the crime. Currently, the police have not yet identified the identities of the group.

Although Wactor was quickly taken to the hospital, his injuries were too severe, and he did not survive. The actor's younger brother confirmed the news on behalf of the family to the media. Wactor's brother stressed that the family is proud of the actor's actions. Wactor immediately thought of protecting others in dangerous situations.

The family also revealed that the income from acting was not enough for Wactor to sustain his life, so he worked as a bartender. Wactor often worked at night in nightclubs when he was not busy with film projects.

Wactor's younger brother shared: "My brother is perhaps the hardest working person I have ever known. He is a great son, a great brother in the family. In everyday life, he is as attractive as on the screen. He is very genuine. We hope the police will soon find the culprit".

Many of Wactor's colleagues have also posted messages expressing their condolences for the unfortunate actor.
