A month later, the homeowner at 65 Lo Duc submitted a request to the government to handle the dead star tree in front of the house to ensure safety. The leader of Hanoi Green Park Company said that they have not yet received a response from Pham Dinh Ho ward about the proposal to inspect and handle tree abuse from November 2023. "Faced with mixed opinions, we temporarily stopped moving the tree stump and continued to petition the government to verify information about the damaged tree," Mr. Manh said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Duc Quyen, Vice Chairman of Pham Dinh Ho Ward, said that the area has dozens of dead trees and has repeatedly petitioned the authorities to check and replace them to ensure safety for people. people.

Answering the question of when the black star trees on Lo Duc Street died, Mr. Quyen explained, "The trees are in the deciduous season, so it is difficult to distinguish whether they are alive or dead." "But according to people in the area, these trees have all been dead for several years. The tree in front of house number 71 has been dead for 5-6 years, the tree in front of house number 65 has been dead for 2-3 years," Mr. Quyen said, indicating that the ward will Check and verify after professional agencies have opinions.

Regarding the black star tree in front of house number 71, in 2019, some residents on Lo Duc street reported that the tree was "killed" by pouring cement and acid. However, up to now, the ward government still has no answer, and the dead star tree has not been uprooted and moved.
