The overall design of the 2024 Kia Carnival remains almost unchanged, as it is just a mid-cycle upgrade. However, the exterior of the car has been refreshed with changes focused on the front, such as a large "tiger nose" grille, giving the new Carnival a more robust appearance than the previous generation.

Stepping inside, the cabin of the 2024 Carnival undergoes a comprehensive transformation despite being just a mid-cycle update. The highlight of this area is the curved screen cluster consisting of a information screen and an entertainment screen connected together, both with a size of 12.3 inches.
Notable features include: wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, 12 Bose speakers, 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with heating/cooling, dual-zone automatic climate control, 64-color ambient lighting.
The 2024 Kia Carnival is offered in 7 or 8-seat configurations. In the 7-seat version, the second-row seats will have a business class design with deep recline, relaxation mode, heating/cooling (Photo: Thaco).
Under the hood, the diesel engine block of the car has not changed, still with a displacement of 2.2L, producing a maximum power of 199 horsepower and a maximum torque of 440Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive system.
The safety equipment highlights the active safety system ADAS 2.0, which includes upgraded features such as: front and rear collision warning and avoidance, blind spot warning and avoidance, safe door opening warning and assistance, and cross-traffic collision warning and avoidance when reversing.
Standard equipment includes lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, 360-degree camera, tire pressure sensors, and 8 airbags.

The Kia Carnival does not have a direct competitor in Vietnam. Another car that can be considered in the same size category as the Korean product is the Volkswagen Viloran, but it is relatively expensive (1,989-2,188 billion VND), as the German brand positions itself as a premium brand.
The Carnival attracts customers who need a spacious and well-equipped vehicle for family or business transportation. From the beginning of 2024 until the end of August, a total of 3,253 units of this car were sold, making it one of Kia's main products in Vietnam.
