Laurent Schwarz lives in Bavaria, Germany. The young boy has a series of abstract paintings that attract the attention of art collectors. Laurent's mother noticed his painting talent when the family had a vacation in South Tyrol, Italy, in September 2023.

"There was a painting room in the hotel where we stayed, and when we took our son to the room to try painting, he just wanted to stay in that room forever. So when we returned home, my husband and I decided to set up a studio for our son at home so that he could freely paint whenever he wanted," said Lisa Schwarz (32 years old).

Lisa created a social media account to showcase her son's paintings. This account quickly garnered attention from the online community and art collectors.

"Initially, I only created this account because I found my son's paintings quite impressive. I never expected them to receive so much attention," the proud young mother shared.

When the family tried to sell the paintings, they quickly received inquiries from art collectors, including international ones. Some art exhibitions have proposed collaborations to display Laurent's paintings.

All the money from Laurent's painting sales is deposited into a bank account until he turns 18, at which point the account will be transferred to him.

Laurent's parents stated that they let him paint whenever he feels like it. There are times when Laurent loses his inspiration for painting for 3-4 weeks straight. During these times, the young boy does not set foot in the painting room. But suddenly, the inspiration for painting reappears, and he runs back into the studio to paint.

Currently, it takes Laurent about 30 minutes to create a painting. Laurent's parents run a greenhouse construction company. Lisa mentioned that there is a part of the online community that criticizes Laurent's paintings and accuses her and her husband of exploiting and pressuring their son to paint to make money at such a young age.

Lisa asserts that she and her husband never pressure their son to paint. Laurent creates art based on inspiration and does not feel any pressure.
