The family of the male artist has confirmed the information to the media and added that Charlie Colin passed away in a tragic situation. In recent years, the artist has been living in Brussels, Belgium, to teach music at a music school.
Prior to his passing, Colin had gone to house-sit for a friend living in Brussels. The friend was going on a trip and asked Colin to house-sit for them. During his stay, Colin slipped and fell in the bathroom, resulting in his death.

The exact time of Colin's accident is not determined. It was only when the friend returned from the trip on May 17th that they discovered Colin had passed away.
Charlie Colin was known for playing bass guitar. He co-founded the band Train in the early 1990s with members Pat Monahan, Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford, and Scott Underwood.
The band found great success with their debut album Train in 1998. Some of their hit songs include Drops of Jupiter, Meet Virginia, Hey, Soul Sister... Train has won 2 Grammy awards.
Charlie Colin left the band in 2003. Since then, he has collaborated with various music groups. Train continues to operate, but has undergone several membership changes.
Currently, Train only has founding member Pat Monahan remaining. When the news of Colin's passing was confirmed by his family, Train expressed their condolences.
