Buffaloes running swiftly at high speed

These days, a video clip lasting nearly 1 minute capturing a herd of buffaloes running on the Diễn Châu - Bãi Vọt expressway through Nghệ An province has stirred up social media.

According to the person who shared the clip, the incident took place around 9 pm on October 24, on the Diễn Châu - Bãi Vọt expressway section passing through N5 intersection (Nghi Lộc district, Nghệ An).

During that time, suddenly a herd of 5 buffaloes ran frantically on the expressway. When they heard the car horns, the herd ran swiftly across the lanes. One of the buffaloes then ran into the exit of the expressway.

Due to the lack of street lights at the junction of N5 with the expressway, and with the dark night, many drivers were very surprised when controlling their vehicles through this area.

Upon the release of this clip, many people expressed concern as having a herd of buffaloes running onto the expressway is very dangerous for the vehicles participating in traffic.

"The incident occurred at night, with no street lights, which made us very surprised at the appearance of the herd of buffaloes on the expressway. We don't understand how the herd could get lost on the expressway like this," Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a driver traveling on the Diễn Châu - Bãi Vọt expressway, shared.

Many witnesses expressed their frustration and requested that the person who released the buffaloes like this be dealt with.

Regarding this issue, a representative of Phúc Thành Hưng Investment Joint Stock Company (project enterprise) confirmed the incident and stated that the herd of buffaloes may have followed the exit route to get onto the expressway. Upon discovering the incident, the road maintenance team successfully led the herd of buffaloes off the expressway and handed them over to the local authorities for further verification and handling.
