Fifteen-year-old Fiat 500 still priced similarly to brand-new Kia Morning, owner still looking for a buyer after three years

A Fiat 500 is currently being offered for sale in the used car market for 360 million VND. This price is only equivalent to the starting price of a Kia Morning AT Luxury model (366 million VND). It is known that this Fiat 500 is from 2009 and has traveled over 70,000 km (Photo: Thái Dương).

This price has sparked debate as many believe that buying a 15-year-old European car would require additional maintenance costs or replacement of parts. However, some argue that this is a "good deal" as for the price of a subcompact car, one can own a rare car model in Vietnam, suitable for city driving or female customers (Photo: Thái Dương).

In reality, the Fiat 500 is still very selective in finding buyers. In 2021, the car was put up for sale by a dealership for around 450 million VND. After 3 years, the car has not found a new owner even though the seller has reduced the price by 90 million VND (Photo: Thái Dương).

The design of this Italian brand is quite simple. The dimensions of the car in length, width, and height are 3.546, 1.627, and 1.488 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,300 mm, equivalent to the Kia Morning model. The Fiat 500 is equipped with a turbocharged 2-cylinder petrol engine, with a displacement of 0.9 liters, producing 86 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 5-speed Dualogic automatic transmission.
