How are illegally imported Lamborghini and Mercedes G63 supercars destroyed?

Two supercars recently destroyed in Quang Binh province are the Lamborghini Murcielago and Mercedes G63 AMG.

These vehicles were seized in a case of smuggling, discovered by the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Investigation Police in coordination with other relevant authorities in Quang Binh province.

The Lamborghini Murcielago, painted green, with 2 seats and license plate 29U-3817, has a 6,500cc engine.

As for the Mercedes G63 AMG, it is yellow, with a 5,461cc engine and license plate 29A-519.76. Both vehicles have been used before.

The authorities in Quang Binh province destroyed these two supercars by cutting their frames and dismantling them into scrap materials to ensure they cannot be used anymore. The money from selling the scrap materials will be deposited into the state budget.

The destruction of administrative violation items was carried out by the authorities in Quang Binh province in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental cleanliness.

As reported by Dân trí, on July 10, the Administrative Violation Items Destruction Council of Quang Binh province carried out the destruction of 2 Lamborghini and Mercedes cars, administrative violation items.

Previously, in August 2020, these two vehicles were temporarily seized by the Quang Binh police while being transported from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City with signs of smuggling.

Upon inspection, these vehicles did not have legitimate proof of origin, and the Vietnamese registration system did not record data regarding license plates, chassis numbers, and engine numbers.
