Some opinions suggested that People's Artist Cong Ly should refrain from drinking alcohol while undergoing treatment. Some said: "Someone like Mr. Ly should be more careful to recover quickly."
Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, the wife of People's Artist Cong Ly revealed that he had just had a business trip with his colleagues from the Hanoi Theatre in the framework of the 1st National Stage Arts Festival for Teenagers and Children in 2024 in Hai Phong. After the performance, Cong Ly and everyone organized a party but he only drank bottled water, not stimulants as many people mistakenly thought.
"He is gradually recovering and traveling for work with everyone. I am always at ease because he is also well cared for by his friends, colleagues. I am also very meticulous so I always pay attention to his diet," Ngoc Ha said.
Ngoc Ha further stated that for over 2 years, she has been taking care of her husband in Vietnam and accompanying him on treatment trips to Japan. With a busy life, she has no time to pay attention to external controversies.
She added: "I know that many people doubt and some even investigate me, even drawing portraits of me in a twisted way according to their desires. But I'm not concerned because I know that I have a loving family, friends, colleagues, and even those who have never met me, they always follow and support me."
According to Ngoc Ha, the period when her husband was ill and in the hospital was a difficult time for her, the pressure from the public, financially, seeing her husband sad also made her stressed, worried.
"I have to admit that I have had many sleepless nights thinking about my situation. However, I also have a family supporting me, my mother, my younger sister, my older sister also encouraged me a lot. My parents-in-law, friends also provide moral support for me.
For a normal caregiver of a sick person, it is already tiring, let alone a patient who has had a stroke, the people around also try very hard. At that time, I tried to give 200%. I don't need to know whether Mr. Ly will return to work or not, but first and foremost, I hope my husband will recover.
I'm not telling this as a brag, but I am proud of what my husband and I have overcome," the wife of People's Artist Cong Ly said.

Ngoc Ha admitted that when her husband was sick, she received many negative comments, some doubted that she would always be by her husband's side to take care of him as she has been doing.
"I have thought about my future but I have never thought of leaving him. Even in the most difficult times for both of us. I will still try, I love and married him not for material things, so, not because he is poor, sick I will abandon him.
He is still recovering well. I have faith in him, I think he will be healthy and return to work," the wife of People's Artist Cong Ly expressed.
