NSƯT Chí Trung responds to speculation about becoming a father for the third time in his 60s

Recently, a picture of Miss Vietnam runner-up Y Lan - the girlfriend of actor Chi Trung - holding a newborn baby and smiling next to the male artist was shared on social media forums.

When contacted by Dân trí reporter, actor Chi Trung denied having a child as rumored on social media. According to the male artist, the image is of Y Lan's grandchild at the time of birth. Currently, the baby is one year old.

"Artists often face criticism, scrutiny, and rumors but we are used to it. I don't engage in those rumors. I believe that an actor builds his image not with flattering comments from the audience but with good roles and his personal character.

If we argue with the audience on social media, it's very tiring. Now, I straightforwardly block the personal accounts of overly enthusiastic viewers. At this age, I am immune to negative comments," he confided.

The male artist added that he has enough experience and wisdom to deal with unfavorable rumors about himself.

"We understand the news cycle, no matter how 'hot' it is, it will be forgotten the next day. The cycle of perception is the same, today we think one thing is important, tomorrow it changes. Our inner peace is the most important," actor Chi Trung shared.
