The concert of Phuong Thanh attracted 1,000 audience members, filling the auditorium of the Hanoi Opera House.

Over the course of 3 hours, the female singer performed nearly 30 songs, including a series of hits that are closely associated with her name such as "Làn sóng xanh" like: "Tình xa khuất" (Trường Huy), "Xin làm người hát rong" (Trần Long Ẩn), "Tình cờ" (Diệp Minh Tuyền), "Một thời đã xa" (Trường Huy, lyrics: Nguyễn Thanh Hà), "Giã từ dĩ vãng" (Nguyễn Đức Trung)...

Phuong Thanh appeared feminine and beautiful in the concert "Đóa hồng gai".

The singer shared that she chose these songs because they marked the turning point in her career. She enjoys the feeling of the audience collectively applauding when she sings the opening verses.

As the night progressed, Phuong Thanh became more enthusiastic and tried to renew herself through hits such as "Muộn màng là từ lúc" (Đức Trí), "Chuyện như chưa bắt đầu" (Hoàng Nhã).

At the end of the program, when performing the hit "Nào ai có biết" by composer Đức Trí, the female singer couldn't hold back her emotions, crying in the arms of her colleagues as she rediscovered the deep emotions in music.

The female singer shared: "I was very nervous, I don't know why, for 17 years, there were times when I lost my voice, couldn't sing with the desired emotions. Today I found myself when receiving the long applause of the audience, the enthusiastic support of colleagues, and that will be the catalyst to help me perform well in the upcoming shows."

Not only did she perform the hits associated with her name, Phuong Thanh also brought many new collaborations, many songs performed for the first time under the musical arrangement of Music Director Huu Vuong and the stage direction of director Hoang Long.

MONO was the first guest singer, also the youngest person to appear on stage. The two artists made the audience delighted when they referred to each other as 'gentleman' and 'lady'. Phuong Thanh called herself a princess, viewing MONO as a prince. The male singer born in 2000 also revealed that he felt both happy and nervous to have the opportunity to perform with his senior counterpart.

"The stage lovers" interacted affectionately, comfortably holding hands, seeming to have no generation gap despite being 27 years apart when performing the song "Xuân hạ thu đông."

Furthermore, the two artists harmonized in the famous hit "Đêm lao xao." The youthful and lively nature of MONO along with the new arrangement by Huu Vuong made the hit seem fresher and more enjoyable. MONO's handsome appearance along with his polite attitude also won the hearts of the audience in the capital.

Phuong Thanh shared that the first time she met MONO at a café in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City), she fell in love with his voice from Thái Bình. The female singer said that MONO was extremely polite, obedient, very enthusiastic and serious about his profession.

Phuong Thanh and Lân Nhã on stage.

Meeting during the filming of the movie "Những nụ hôn rực rỡ," Lân Nhã affectionately called Phuong Thanh "má" (mom). Therefore, Lân Nhã stated that being present at the live concert "Đóa hồng gai" was a natural occurrence as in the sense of "when mom does it, the son will support."

The first collaboration of the "mother-son duo" Phuong Thanh - Lân Nhã brought new and unique elements to the music-loving audience in the capital through the song "Ta chẳng còn ai."

Bang Kieu and Phuong Thanh had previously collaborated successfully during "Làn sóng xanh" with a series of songs like "Em về tinh khôi," "Trái tim không ngủ yên..." and also acted together in a feature film.

On the stage of "Đóa hồng gai," Phuong Thanh and Bang Kieu harmonized in "Vẫn hát lời tình yêu." The two singers also reminisced about their memories from years ago.

Bang Kieu remarked that Phuong Thanh is an extremely adorable singer to her colleagues. The male singer reassured the audience not to be surprised when Phuong Thanh says she "loves Bang Kieu," "loves Lam Trường," or even Dan Truong, because in the past with Minh Thuận, Phuong Thanh also said...she loved.

Phuong Thanh shyly leaned on Bang Kieu's shoulder while the two sang "Vẫn hát lời tình yêu".

Dan Truong, despite having a broken ankle, still came to Hanoi to support his senior, the two sang "Khi giấc mơ về" by composer Đức Trí.

In Phuong Thanh's live concert, there was also a very special guest singer, "Anh Bo" Dan Truong. Dan Truong shared that not long ago, he unfortunately broke his ankle, thinking he wouldn't be able to participate in the program.

However, he still tried to appear at this special event, even though he had to use crutches on stage. He and the host of the live concert "Đóa hồng gai" performed the song "Khi giấc mơ về" (Đức Trí).

Siu Black was the guest singer who appeared at the end of the program. On stage, she and Phuong Thanh harmonized well in the song "Cô đơn trên sofa" (Tăng Duy Tân) with a new arrangement. Despite being over 50 years old, both of them were still as passionate as ever. This duet made the audience explode with excitement and applause.

The harmony between "songbirds of the mountains and forests" and their juniors impressed singer Ha Le. The performance became more engaging with Ha Le's rap. Below the seats, the audience cheered, calling the names of the two singers.

In Phuong Thanh's concert, Siu Black proves that U60 "is not ordinary at all".

During the exchange session, Phuong Thanh said: "My concert cannot be without Siu Black. Every time I sing with her, I feel more energized". According to the original voice of Thanh Hoa, when editing the program with the idea of singing the hit of Ho Ngoc Ha, she immediately thought of Siu Black because "no one could be more suitable."

Siu Black mentioned that both of them encouraged each other a lot after the ups and downs of life. There was a period when she and Phuong Thanh were angry with each other for a few years due to misunderstandings. After reconciling, their relationship became stronger.

Phuong Thanh and Siu Black also had an explosive collaboration that made the audience cheer along with "Ly cà phê Ban Mê" and the song "Trống vắng" (Quốc Hùng) in a rock style. Singer Ha Le and Lan Nha spontaneously appeared to harmonize in the performance.

In addition to the collaborations with the host of the concert, Bang Kieu, Lan Nha, and Ha Le all had solo performances that left an impression on the audience.

Lan Nha looked elegant as a true gentleman on stage. He captivated the audience with his performance of "Lối cũ ta về" (Thanh Tùng). Ha Le also brought a fresh twist with his rendition of the song "Mưa hồng" by musician Trịnh Công Sơn. And Bang Kieu made the audience applaud continuously with his performance of "Cơn mơ băng giá."

After the success of "Đóa hồng gai" in Hanoi, Phuong Thanh will hold the next concert in Ha Long on June 22. The guest singers for this live concert will be Lam Trường, Hoàng Hải, Phạm Anh Khoa, Double2T, and a secret singer.
