The concert was part of the annual series Timeless Resonance - Endless Melody initiated by musician Quoc Trung. This was the first time that People's Artist Dang Thai Son performed with his students in Vietnam.

Most of Dang Thai Son's students, past and present, are of Asian descent. Therefore, he chose Vietnam as the starting point to inspire those who are passionate and want to do more for the classical music field in the country.

The three students performing with the male artist this time have won multiple prestigious awards at international music competitions. Sophia Shuya Liu won the First Prize at the 18th International Ettlingen Piano Competition in Germany, and the First Prize at the Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition in 2023.

Kai-Min Chang reached the quarterfinals of the 18th Chopin Competition in 2021. Zitong Wang is currently pursuing a master's degree at the prestigious New England Conservatory, where Dang Thai Son teaches. She won the First Prize and the Best Performer of F. Chopin's music at the 33rd Ferrol International Piano Competition in 2022.

With 10 outstanding instrumental pieces performed during the concert, the audience in their homeland had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of classical music and admire the perfect melodies through masterpieces of world-renowned composers.

Dang Thai Son's three students performed pieces by F. Liszt, L.V. Beethoven, A. Scriabin, F. Chopin, and played ensemble with their teacher in pieces by F. Schubert and F. Chopin.

The male artist, born in 1958, dedicated the last three pieces of the program to the audience, including: Barcarolle No.1, Op.26 in A minor by G. Fauré, Waltz No.2, Op. 69 in B minor by F. Chopin, and Golliwog's Cakewalk from Children's Corner, L. 113 by C. Debussy. Additionally, he and his students had a special ensemble performance for the audience sitting below.

After the performance, People's Artist Tran Ly Ly - Director of the Performing Arts Department, exclaimed "wonderful." She shared with Dan Tri reporter: "I have known about the concert for many weeks, so today I came early to await the performance of People's Artist Dang Thai Son.

It is a great honor for me to be seated in the stands, listening to his compositions, seeing his dedication to music, and the success of the generations after him. After a two-hour long night of music, I feel extremely happy."

She added: "Honestly, I wish the concert could continue so I could immerse myself in Dang Thai Son's music even longer. The male artist seemed to merge into his own music.

During his musical performance, we can imagine spaces and rhythms in life. People with better imaginations can even create their own movies."

Regarding the young artists performing in the program, People's Artist Tran Ly Ly assessed that each individual uses their inner strength and life experiences, so each artist has a unique appearance on stage. With that diversity, she hopes that they can go further in the future.

Director Quoc Trung also shared with Dan Tri reporter: "Like other audience members, throughout the evening, I was immersed in the music of People's Artist Dang Thai Son. From an objective perspective as a fan, the young artists performing in the program have shown maturity in their musical thinking and strong confidence despite their young age.

Looking from the program organizers' perspective, when listening to the music of People's Artist Dang Thai Son, I wonder why such a talented artist has not performed frequently in Vietnam and it took 5-6 years for a performance. This is a shortcoming of the organizers in Vietnam."
