Ranked in the luxury segment, Rolls-Royce can be considered the most recognizable car brand in Vietnam, even for users who are not interested in four-wheel vehicles.

The products of this brand often shock with prices reaching tens of billion Vietnamese dong, and some still have prices of a few billion dong after more than 10 years of use.

For example, the 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost in this article. The car is being offered for sale by a private garage in Hanoi for 5.7 billion dong, has traveled 47,000km, and has been "upgraded" to Series 2.

The Series 2 "upgrade" of this 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost includes a new front light cluster with LED daytime running lights (original rectangular headlight design, no daytime running lights), a new shock absorber and grille border, but not much changed compared to Series 1 (Photo: Văn Long).

Compared to the nearly 20 billion dong selling price in 2010, this Rolls-Royce Ghost is now more accessible. However, after over 14 years of use, the resale price of the car is still equivalent to the new purchase price of some luxury models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4Matic (5.389 billion dong) or the Porsche Cayenne (5.56 billion dong).

On average, the car loses up to 1 billion dong in value each year. Experts explain that Rolls-Royce Ghost, in particular, and luxury cars in general, usually have high selling prices, so they are selective of buyers; therefore, when reselling, the prices usually drop significantly to find a new owner.

The interior/exterior of this 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost still shines even though it is 14 years old. It is also possible that the car has been meticulously maintained before being put up for sale (Photo: Văn Long).

The ODO reading of 47,000km is considered reasonable for the age of this 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost, according to experts. Due to their significant value, luxury cars are often not used as daily vehicles by their owners but reserved for special occasions.

In 2010, the Rolls-Royce Ghost already had a panoramic sunroof and an entertainment screen for the second row of seats (Photo: Văn Long).

Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Ghost is equipped with a V12, turbocharged engine, with a capacity of 6.6L, combined with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, producing 562 horsepower and 780Nm of torque. According to the manufacturer's announcement, the car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250km/h.

This 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost can be seen as an entry-level choice for users who want to experience luxury products from the British brand.

However, since the car is 14 years old, many details such as the suspension system or engine may deteriorate even though the car is not heavily used, so thorough inspection is needed before making a decision to purchase.
