It is currently unclear when the official launch of this SUV will take place, but at the end of April, Toyota registered the industrial design copyright in Vietnam for the Land Cruiser Prado 2024. The dealership also mentioned that the car will be introduced in the second half of this year.
When it arrives in the country, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is likely to have a square headlight design as shown above. In the international market, the standard and limited First Edition versions of the vehicle use round headlights (Screenshot).
An insider from Dan Tri reporter revealed that Toyota Vietnam is planning to distribute the new Land Cruiser Prado. The current version has been available since 2021 and is receiving considerable attention from Vietnamese customers.

Sales consultants disclosed that the Toyota Land Cruiser 2024, when it arrives in Vietnam, will feature 20-inch alloy wheels (the current model's wheels are 19 inches), headlights with automatic adaptive features, additional interior features such as a heads-up display (HUD) and rear seat heating.
However, the audio system may only include 14 regular speakers, not JBL like the previous model.

In terms of performance, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is likely to be equipped with a new 2.4L turbocharged engine upon arrival in the country. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system, this engine produces 326 horsepower and 630Nm of torque.
The safety features of the vehicle will still include the Toyota Safety Sense technology package but upgraded from version 2.0 to 3.0, adding features such as intelligent adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, emergency automatic braking, parking assist, among others.
Due to being imported whole from Japan, the supply source of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is likely to be limited, leading to possible price increases or markups at dealerships, similar to its predecessor, the Land Cruiser (LC300) (Photo: Toyota).
With these aforementioned changes, the selling price of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is likely to increase significantly, as predicted by industry experts. The current model is priced at 2.628 billion VND and according to sources, the new generation of this SUV is expected to be priced up to 3 billion VND.
