Get a $100 discount and 0% installment
VinFast continues to create a frenzy before the new school year by introducing special offers for customers purchasing electric motorcycles.
Specifically, customers pay 30% upfront to own various models of electric bikes, and at the same time, they enjoy a 0% interest rate for the first 6 months. In addition, when buying on installments, customers will receive a voucher worth $50 when purchasing Evo200, Evo200 Lite, Feliz S, and $100 when purchasing Klara S2, Vento S, Theon S.
The 0% installment policy is a practical financial leverage for electric bike users, especially Gen Z, young people who are students or just starting their careers, not yet financially stable.
If choosing to pay the full price upfront, customers will also receive a $100 discount when purchasing Evo200, Evo200 Lite, Feliz S; and $200 when purchasing Klara S2, Vento S, Theon S.
"After the discount, Feliz S costs only $1,100. While being more environmentally friendly and smarter, with a GPS for easy vehicle management," said Mrs. Hoang Thu Hoai (Hanoi) after buying a Feliz S for her son preparing for university.
One of the main factors that make VinFast electric motorcycles significantly cheaper than gasoline motorcycles is the company's battery rental policy. Instead of customers having to buy a battery with a cost of tens of millions of dong, VinFast provides a battery rental model, which significantly reduces the initial purchase price of the motorcycle.
Additionally, users do not have to worry about the battery's condition because VinFast will be responsible for replacing, repairing, or maintaining the battery when it is faulty or depleted.
According to him, the motorcycle market has seen a significant shift in the past 2 years as users are increasingly turning to VinFast electric motorcycles due to their affordable prices.
Low monthly operating costs for electric motorcycles
In addition to the low purchase cost, VinFast electric motorcycles are also favored by users due to their low operating costs.
For example, users such as students, on average travel about 30 km per day, which will suit the battery rental package for a maximum distance of 1,000 km.
"I travel about 30 km a day. I pay $50 a month for the battery rental, about 6-7 home charges, which costs about $3 for electricity. So, the average fuel cost is about $0.15/km. In contrast, gasoline scooters will be much more expensive, some even double," shared Nguyen Hoai Nam, a student at the National Economics University, who is using a Feliz S.
If users travel more, the cost difference between gasoline and electric motorcycles becomes even greater. Nam gives the example that if he travels about 2,000 km per month, he will pay $70 for the battery rental and $30 for electricity. In total, users will spend about $100 a month, whereas with gasoline motorcycles, this cost is unlikely to be below a few hundred dollars.
Moreover, according to the experience of many users, with maintenance costs, electric motorcycles are much cheaper than gasoline motorcycles.
"I only spent $1 for the first maintenance of the VinFast Evo200," a motorcycle enthusiast explained that electric motorcycles have fewer parts that need to be replaced regularly, so maintenance costs are low. In contrast, gasoline motorcycles require frequent oil changes and many parts need regular replacement, which can burden motorcycle owners, especially students and young people, with higher costs.
Thanks to the cost-saving advantages and good deals from VinFast, the Vietnamese electric two-wheelers are increasingly attracting customers, especially as the back-to-school season is approaching.
