When it comes to armored vehicles, people often think of large SUVs with 0-60 mph times measured in minutes. U.S. Armor Group is changing that perception by unveiling the "fastest armored car in the world" developed based on the Lucid Air Sapphire model.
The vehicle utilizes a four-wheel drive system, with 3 electric motors, generating 1,234 horsepower. This setup allows the standard model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 1.89 seconds, reach a top speed of 205 mph, and have an EPA-rated range of 425 miles per charge.

U.S. Armor Group installs lightweight bulletproof windows on the vehicle - rated at .44 Magnum, combined with a lightweight composite armor. The company claims that this composite material armor provides 10 times the ballistic protection while being 5 times lighter than traditional steel.
In total, the bulletproof armor only adds 175kg to the vehicle's weight, equivalent to carrying two additional passengers, and the company states that the vehicle can still achieve a top speed exceeding 200 mph.
In addition to the bulletproof armor, the vehicle is equipped with an "unhackable" internet/WiFi security package promising to protect data from cyberattacks.
The company also states that the vehicle utilizes advanced technology to continuously "scan" for threats around during movement, gathering information from millions of sources, including local police and fire scanner.

The starting price is $475,000, nearly doubling the price of the original Lucid Air Sapphire. However, customers can opt for additional ballistic armor to withstand bullets, explosives, and heavy machine guns.
