Trần Tiến's wish after being criticized by Đàm Vĩnh Hưng for “singing boring”

Recently, some social media pages spread content: "Composer Tran Tien: I have not seen anyone sing boring and lacking respect for the author like Dam Vinh Hung". On a fanpage, the image with the above content received nearly 20,000 likes and thousands of comments.

Composer Tran Tien had to make a video sent to the media to confirm that this is false information, and at the same time stated that this editing has affected the image, credibility, and harmony of the two artists.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, composer Tran Tien said that after he spoke up, those who posted this information did not apologize, did not contact him. Once again, the male composer affirmed that he did not make such statements.

"That day, Ha Tran told me that there was a social media page that posted information that I criticized Dam Vinh Hung for singing boring. I told Ha Tran to call Hung immediately to clarify this matter. In the conversation, Dam Vinh Hung also said "you know Uncle Tien would never make such statements" and I made a video to give to Dam Vinh Hung for him to publicly announce to everyone.

I and Dam Vinh Hung are not close friends so I did not comment. The basic ethics of an artist is to not speak ill of other artists," composer Tran Tien said.

When asked how he usually reacts when false information about him spreads on social media, composer Tran Tien said: "Social media is like a... market, if you don't filter information, it's easy to be infected with "bad news". I and many artists have been rumored to have passed away, I hope that the authorities will intervene to strictly handle fake news, misinformation so as not to affect the people, genuine artists."

As for singer Dam Vinh Hung, he hopes that people will be cautious when receiving information on social media.

Until now, composer Tran Tien has been considered a romantic, carefree artist. He often appears on stage with a spontaneous performance style, a bowler hat, and a guitar.

For over 10 years, he and his wife have moved from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau to live. Whenever sitting with friends, he often talks about the house near the beach which, according to him, is where he feels most peaceful.

He confided: "I am living a peaceful life, waking up early to exercise, looking at the sea, having breakfast, and composing music. Although I am a Hanoi boy, I really love the sea. When I was young, I always dreamed of living in a small house by the beach, and now I am living by the sea.

Here I still work, but I rest as well. I am a music composer, a simple artist, not a people's artist, not a distinguished artist as many people think."

Tran Tien humbly admits that he is a common music composer, but friends and fans all say that the artist's quality in him is always abundant. When he goes on stage, he often has spontaneous interactions with young singers that excite the audience.
