VinFast VF DrgnFly electric assist bicycle priced at 2969 million VND

On August 20, VinFast officially launched the electric-assisted bicycle model VF DrgnFly in Vietnam, with a listed price of 29.69 million VND. The bike is expected to reach customers in September.

VF DrgnFly is a product developed by VinFast in collaboration with the renowned Danish designer Eskild Hansen, a unit that has won numerous prestigious Red Dot Design awards (Photo: VinFast).

The bike features an extended handlebar, large tires, and an ergonomic saddle, optimizing the riding experience. The unique structure of the bike requires complex manufacturing techniques. The flat aluminum frame is aesthetically pleasing, durable, and exquisitely finished. This frame ensures a balance between the weight and durability of the product.

The dimensions of the bike are 1,730 x 720 x 1,056 (mm) in length, width, and height respectively. The saddle height is 795mm. The bike weighs 32kg. These dimensions are suitable for the Vietnamese physique, ensuring a comfortable and flexible user experience.

VF DrgnFly is equipped with a full LED lighting system, enhancing aesthetics and ensuring safe illumination and operation.

Additionally, VinFast's electric-assisted bicycle is equipped with a hydraulic telescopic suspension system with a 50mm diameter, providing stability and comfort for users during operation. VF DrgnFly uses hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels.

VF DrgnFly features a 250W motor integrated into the rear wheel, a single-speed gearbox, and a torque sensor.

With a lithium-ion battery, the bike can operate continuously for 75km in pure electric mode or 110km in assisted mode on a single charge. Owners can monitor the battery status and operational information through the integrated monochrome display on the handlebar.

VF DrgnFly allows users to connect and manage the bike through a mobile app. This enables users to change driving modes, store trips, unlock special modes, etc. directly on their smartphones.

Remote software updates via OTA protocol will optimize the bike to enhance the user experience.

VF DrgnFly is set up with 3 driving modes: Manual/Eco/Sport, suitable for the needs and usage habits of most customers. The bike will be sold with a home charger, and the easily removable battery allows users to charge the bike proactively during use.
