According to the statistics from Yiche, BYD is the third best-selling car brand globally in July this year. The data shows that BYD has achieved sales nearly half of Toyota in the first position and is only lagging behind Volkswagen by around 30,000 vehicles in the second position.
However, when summing up the sales for the first 7 months of the year, BYD is ranked 8th. This result is specific to the BYD brand, not the entire group.

Specifically, BYD sold 315,600 vehicles in July, compared to Toyota's 651,200 vehicles and Volkswagen's 346,200 vehicles. No other Chinese brand is in the Top 10, but Chery ranks 18th with sales of 71,100 vehicles, and Geely ranks 20th with sales of 63,800 vehicles.
